How the workflow runs
Consent comes first. Before anything is captured, Fanoni asks the clinician to confirm that the patient and everyone present has consented to the recording. No consent, no capture.
The conversation becomes a transcript. As the visit proceeds, Fanoni displays the conversation as a role-labeled transcript, so it is always clear who said what.
The transcript becomes a draft note. From that transcript, Fanoni prepares a structured SOAP note along with coding suggestions for the encounter.
The clinician remains in control. Nothing is final until the clinician reviews the draft and attests to it. Editing, correcting, and rejecting are all part of the same review step.
Signing files the note. When the clinician signs, Fanoni files the note in the patient chart — and from there, the encounter continues to billing review as its own reviewed handoff.
Why the order matters
Each step feeds the next: consent gates capture, capture feeds the transcript, the transcript feeds the draft, and review gates the chart. The clinician's attention moves from keyboard to patient, while the record keeps its integrity — every note in the chart is one a clinician read and signed.
